# Your First Link in 60 Seconds Welcome to ClipLinkly! We've designed our platform to be as intuitive as possible. Here's how you can create your first short link, even as a guest. ## Step 1: Paste Your URL Navigate to the ClipLinkly homepage. You'll see the main shortener form right away. Copy the long URL you want to shorten and paste it into the input field that says "Paste your long URL to shorten it...". ## Step 2: Choose an Expiration By default, guest links are set to expire in 30 days. This is great for temporary campaigns or sharing links that won't be relevant forever. You can also choose from other options: * **7 Days:** Perfect for flash sales or event reminders. * **30 Days:** The standard for most use cases. * **90 Days:** For longer-term sharing needs. Note: Signed-in users on our Pro plan can create links that never expire! ## Step 3: Shorten and Share! Click the "Shorten" button. In just a moment, your new, clean URL will appear. You can now copy it to your clipboard or use the "Open" button to test it out. That's it! You've successfully created your first short link with ClipLinkly.
